Terms of Service

By using Gruppetto, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Purpose
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Gruppetto app, a service for discovering, organizing, and joining group cycling rides between individuals.
2. Description of the service
Gruppetto connects riders around rides and clubs organized by users themselves, not by Gruppetto. Core use — browsing rides, joining one, creating rides and clubs for occasional use — is free and will stay free. Optional paid tiers, described on the Pricing page, unlock additional tools for regular riders and active organizers.
3. User accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating your account and be at least 16 years old. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity under your account.
4. Content and conduct
Rides, clubs, comments, and photos on Gruppetto are created and managed by users. Gruppetto doesn't vet the safety, level, or conditions of a ride organized by someone else — cycling carries inherent risk that every participant accepts by joining. Illegal, abusive, or misleading content may be removed, and the account behind it may be suspended.
5. Paid subscriptions
Rider+, Club+, and Partner/Brand tiers are billed on the cycle stated at sign-up. You can cancel a paid subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, with no pro-rated refund unless required by law. The free features described on the Pricing page will never be removed from an existing free account without reasonable notice.
6. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Gruppetto may suspend or terminate an account's access for a clear violation of these Terms, including illegal content, harassment, or impersonation.
7. Intellectual property
You keep all rights to the content you post (photos, comments, ride descriptions). By posting it, you grant Gruppetto a non-exclusive license to display it within the app, solely to operate the service. Gruppetto's name, logo, and interface remain the property of its publisher.
8. Limitation of liability
Gruppetto is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, the publisher isn't liable for accidents, injuries, or damages arising from a ride organized through the app, nor for the accuracy of information posted by users.
9. Personal data
Gruppetto collects only the data strictly needed to run the service (name, email, level, meeting-point location). You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time from your profile or by contacting us. In line with GDPR for users in the European Union, your data is never sold to third parties.
10. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by French law. They may change; any substantial change will be flagged to you in the app. For any question, use the feedback page.
